With one week to go before the XLCR Eagles and Lady Eagles register into their Champs Village, plans are far advanced for the student-athletes to perform at their optimum at this year's ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships (Champs).
The athletes are primed to go, support staff are in place & construction of the village to host 87 athletes; 20 support staff - including coaches, managers, chaperones, cooks and a driver, will commence next week.
All Excelsorians and friends of the school are urged to go to the National Stadium March 19 to 23 and support your XLCR Eagles, as they seek to achieve Top5 status in both the boys & girls championships, a feat that the school has not accomplished in 50 years . Supporter Shirts will be available at the School Bookstore as of next week for J$3,500.
