Special invited guests at The 2023 Wesley Powell Meet will be some members of the KC and Camperdown squads who competed alongside the Excelsorians at Champs and Penns in the mid 1960s.

 

Please come out and celebrate with these XLCR icons, even as you renew acquaintances with former schoolmates and meet other generations of XLCR Alumni. The stories on the history of the school and its development into one of the nation's premier educational institutions are always informative and interesting, especially the move from North Street to Antrim.

 

 

Hosting such an enormous event requires a significant amount of sponsorship. Attached is the Wesley Powell Meet 2023 sponsorship proposal. Kindly consider becoming a sponsor as well as make contact with, and share the document with other potential sponsors. 

 

The financial commitment for Associate Sponsorship is $30,000 (USD200) and $150,000 (USD1000) for Gold Sponsorship. The entitlements for the different levels of sponsorship are outlined in the relevant section of the attached proposal.

For those who may be unable to experience the meet live, it will be streamed live by StrideVision TV, an arrangement pioneered by the Wesley Powell Meet in Jamaica in 2016. 

 

The meet's media Launch will be November 8, 2023 @ 10am at XLCR. The meet will be on Dec 9 and starts at 8:30am, concluding at 5:15pm, with the presentation ceremony due to commence at 2:00pm.
